AgriTech Growth Hackfest
Innovate at the intersection of agriculture and technology to solve global food and sustainability challenges.
Overview
The AgriTech Growth Hackfest invites individuals and teams to develop creative, practical solutions that improve food systems, increase agricultural productivity, and promote sustainability. The competition emphasizes innovation, collaboration, and real-world impact across areas such as precision farming, supply-chain efficiency, climate resilience, agri-biotech, and digital tools for farmers.
Competition Timeline
Registration Opens
February 1st, 2026
Open registration for all participants. Late registrations will not be accepted.
Development Phase
February 8th – February 22nd, 2026
Participants develop projects. A kickoff workshop on project management and agri-technology will be held on February 8th.
Submission Deadline
February 22nd, 2026, 11:59 PM
All projects must be submitted by this time. Late submissions will not be considered.
Judging Period
February 23rd – February 28th, 2026
Our panel of judges will review all submitted projects.
Winners Announced
March 5th, 2026
Winners will be announced on the hackfest website and social media.

- Open to individuals and teams (up to 5 members)
- Participants must be at least 18 years old
- All agri-focused, tech-enabled ideas welcome, regardless of prior experience
Submission Requirements
Project Proposal
A detailed document (maximum 5 pages) outlining:
- The problem being addressed
- The proposed solution
- Target audience (farmers, cooperatives, suppliers, etc.)
- Implementation plan
- Expected impact on food systems and community sustainability
Prototype/Demo
A working prototype, model, or visual representation of the solution. This could be in the form of:
- A video
- A presentation
- A physical model
Presentation
A 10-minute presentation (live or recorded) summarizing the project, followed by a Q&A session with the judges.
